Teams that Co-X

About team work …

In the beginning they co-exist: know of each others existance and may sporadically reach out for short, narrow focused questions. At a later stage, they start to co-ordinate work - making plans for dependent activities, trying to solve the puzzle. Then, at some point, they start to co-operate in order to enable the involved parties to reach their respective goals. Finally colleagues collaborate - goals are now shared (common, mutual) and the combined outcome is put first, trumping individual goals.

Looking at your closest team - where are you/they?

  • co-exist
  • co-ordinate
  • co-operate
