- no, there are no learning styles
- yes, stimulating your brain is good for forming memories (7 1/2 Lessons About the Brain, Feldman)

- yes, variation is good
- yes, focus can’t be held very long
- yes, it’s in the application of something new that we form long lasting knowledge/skill

YouTube Series from Aarhus
There’s a short series of videos called Teaching Teaching & Understanding Understanding, produced by the University of Aarhus in Denmark. This series “humorously” illustrates three distinct teaching styles:
- The “Transmission” Model: The teacher assumes that students will absorb information simply by listening.
- The “Entertainment” Model: The teacher believes that keeping students entertained is the key to effective learning.
- The “Constructive Alignment” Model: Students are engaged through assignments that require them to apply what they’ve learned.
