It does say somewhere: “don’t create a database” but I missed it. Anyhow, this is what’s needed (more or less):
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'video_raspbmc'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'video_raspbmc';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'music_raspbmc'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'music_raspbmc';
with an advancedsettings.xml
looking like this:
<advancedsettings>
<videodatabase>
<type>mysql</type>
<host>192.168.1.50</host>
<port>3306</port>
<name>video_raspbmc</name>
<user>video_raspbmc</user>
<pass>video_raspbmc</pass>
</videodatabase>
<musicdatabase>
<type>mysql</type>
<host>192.168.1.50</host>
<port>3306</port>
<name>music_raspbmc</name>
<user>music_raspbmc</user>
<pass>music_raspbmc</pass>
</musicdatabase>
<videolibrary>
<importwatchedstate>true</importwatchedstate>
</videolibrary>
</advancedsettings>
Now I just need x11vnc
and some Docker magic for automatic indexing to happen on certain events.
